yeah jordan leopold is a nice guy but either he takes league minimum or calls it a career.

no Tlusty in MTL! I'd rather give some ice time to the kids... Fehr? if we move somebody, could a nice 3rd center.

I dont see Fehr fitting in Buffalos lineup. Already jammed up with too many forwards, unless they move someone in a trade for a dman.

On Jiri Tlusty....

Jiri appears to be in Montreal's crosshairs, and I could see him a s adding some much needed scoring on the Habs. Arizona, Carolina, Anaheim and even Toronto have looked into Tlusty

On Eric Fehr...

I had heard prior to the Jackets getting Saad they had looked hard at signing Fehr...Now I hearing Buffalo, Montreal, Edmonton, NY Rangers and to a smaller extent Nashville could possibly add a REALLY solid player here.

On Jordan Leopold...

The Wild appear to have signed too many NHL d-men already, but Leopold is the kind of experienced D-man that many of the teams in the NHL are craving...So far I have heard San Jose, Nashville, Washington and the Kings even as having interest in Jordan.

On Scottie Upshall..

Scottie's speed and eye for the net make him a perfect fit in today's NHL as a player who can check and chip in secondary scoring on the second or third line but who can also jump up to first line duties and play a very skilled game with skilled players...

You say the same things about every free agent or every potential trade target, that they could be "the perfect fit". Yet, all of these guys are still unsigned for a reason. Why can't you just be honest when assessing some of these players and say that 25 other teams aren't lookin at them because they suck!

In other words, Scottie's speed has slowed considerably, he can't see the net, and he is stuck on a third line teetering on the fourth line. But he could jump to first line duties......in the AHL.

I don't see the rangers signing any more FA
